The Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) stands as a formidable entity in South India, tracing its roots back to 1961 when it was formally registered under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955. With a membership exceeding 20,000 and over 50 affiliated associations, KSSAI holds the distinction of being the sole representative association of small-scale industries in Kerala State.

Operating with district units spread across all 14 revenue districts of the State, KKSSIA functions as a pivotal promotional organization for small-scale industrialists. Its significance is underscored by its recognition by both the Union and State Governments.

The leadership of KSSIA, including the President and other office bearers, boasts extensive experience in the industrial domain. They are frequently nominated to various statutory or advisory boards and committees formed by the Union and State Governments, operating at national, state, and district levels.

Through its advocacy, representation, and promotion efforts, KSSIA plays a crucial role in championing the interests and concerns of small-scale industries in Kerala, contributing significantly to the industrial landscape of the region.
