The Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) stands as a formidable entity in South India. Tracing its roots back to 1961 when it was formally registered under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955. With a membership exceeding 20,000 and over 50 affiliated associations, KSSAI holds the distinction of being the sole representative association of small-scale industries in Kerala State.
KSSIA operates with district units across all 14 revenue districts of the State, serving as a pivotal organization promoting small-scale industrialists. Its significance is underscored by its recognition by both the Union and State Governments.
The leadership of KSSIA, including the President and other office bearers, boasts extensive experience in the industrial domain. The Union and State Governments frequently nominate them to various statutory or advisory boards and committees that operate at the national, state, and district levels.
